Marines with Company G, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, conducted mountain warfare training with Republic of Korea Marines during Peninsula Express 15 at the Mountain Warfare School in Pohang, Republic of Korea, June 30 – July 1, 2015. Peninsula Express is the eighth iteration of the Korean-Marine Exchange Program and the first time Marine Forces Reserve has participated in the exercise. The Marines learned techniques in rope tying, rappelling, fast roping and bridge crossing from the Korean Marine instructors.
