Lt. Col. Cameron McCoy, Commanding Officer of 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marines, speaks about his career as an officer in the Marine Corps Reserves at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on February 27, 2021. From Washington, D.C. McCoy has risen from a platoon commander leading Marines in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom, to being a battalion commander.
