U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. David G. Bellon, outgoing commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South, relinquished command to Lt. Gen. Leonard F. Anderson IV at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans and held a retirement ceremony at The National WWII Museum, New Orleans, March 21, 2024. Bellon commanded more than 90,000 Reserve Marines since taking command of MARFORRES in 2019. He took command of MARFORSOUTH in 2022.
